Situated in Pacific County from the Pacific Ocean, Cape Disappointment provides one ship ramp and 135 legs of dock are offered on Baker Bay within the Columbia River. Introducing a watercraft at a continuing state park requires one of several after:
- An launch that is annual (Natural Investment allow; or
- A yearly Discover Pass and a daily launch license; or
- A one-day Discover Pass and a launch permit that is daily. Yearly permits can be purchased at State Parks Headquarters in Olympia, at area workplaces, on line and at areas whenever staff is present. More information are located in the Boating Program.
Cape frustration has 137 standard campsites, 50 full-hookup internet sites, 18 partial-hookup internet sites with water and electricity, five hiker/biker that is primitive first come first served, 14 yurts, three cabins, one dump section, eight restrooms (two ADA) and 14 showers (four ADA). Optimum web site size is 45 foot (restricted accessibility). Camping is available all year round.

The 14 yurts at Cape frustration are within walking distance associated with coastline. Each yurt is 16 legs in diameter by 10-feet high and it is furnished with bunkbeds that rest three, a futon that is full-size flooring lamp, tiny end dining dining table and heater. Outside is a picnic dining table, fire bowl with grate and a deck that is ADA available. All yurts are heated, but visitors should take with you blankets and clothing that is warm nights may be cool. Each cabin is furnished by having a bunk sleep that sleeps three, a full-size futon, and end table that is small.
